Cheesecake Neapolitan

The idea to replace the vanilla ice cream in a classic neapolitan with vanilla bean cheesecake came from Blackbirds pastry sous chef Krystle. As soon as she uttered the words, our entire department collectively yelled “yes!” and we immediately set to work making this flavor come true. An entire cheesecake is blended into an ice cream base, before being layered with our blue ribbon chocolate and strawberry buttermilk ice creams. We know the neapolitan purchased from a grocery store is often treated as a multi-pac of flavors, but trust us on this one, you’ll be glad to enjoy all three of these flavors swirled together in each bite.
